Keren...!!! 13 Prajurit TNI Selesaikan Pendidikan SAAB – Swedish Defence University

Asisten Personel (Aspers) Panglima TNI, Marsekal Muda TNI Dedi Permadi menyerahkan sertifikat kepada 13 Perwira Menengah I(Pamen) TNI dan 3 Insinyur dari PT Pindad dan PT LEN yang telah berhasil mengikuti program pendididikan intensif.

 Program, intensif itu, digelar oleh perusahaan pertahanan dan keamanan asal Swedia, SAAB serta Swedish Defence University.

Penyerahan sertifikat yang juga dihadiri oleh Kepala SAAB Indonesia, Anders Dahl itu dilakukan pada Rabu 16-8-2017 di Mabes TNI Cilangkap, Jakarta.

Aspers Panglima TNI Marsda TNI Dedi Permadi mengatakan, program pendidikan yang digelar selama 6 bulan ini sangat bagus untuk memberikan pencerahan bagi para Perwira Menengah tentang teknologi dan industri pertahanan yang dimiliki Swedia.

“Ini melatih para Pamen TNI yang memiliki latar belakang ilmu teknik untuk berimprovisasi dan mengembangkan ilmu teknologi yang dimilikinya,” sebut Marsda TNI Dedi Permadi  .

Ke depan, kata Marsda TNI Dedi Permadi, program pendidikan itu pasti akan bermanfaat bagi para Pamen TNI dan mereka bisa memberikan rekomendasi-rekomendasi kepada Mabes TNI dan matranya dalam melengkapi Alutsista yang dipunyai  TNI dan untuk mencerdaskan personil TNI.

“Kita melatih pola pikir. Transfer pengetahuan dan transfer ilmu teknologi. Program ini akan mencerdaskan personil dan wawasannya semakin luas,” kata Marsda TNI Dedi Permadi.

Sebanyak 16 orang peserta pendidikan itu pada Maret 2017 memulai kursus eksekutif selama 6 bulan dengan tema “Technology Forecasting and Long-Term Defence Planning” sebagai bagian dari program beasiswa Saab, bekerja sama dengan Swedish Defence University.

Pendidikan itu terdiri dari kuliah, diskusi, kunjungan lapangan dan proyek akhir yang semuanya disampaikan dalam bahasa lnggris. Seluruh siswa mengunjungi 4 kota di Swedia untuk mengevaluasi teknologi Saab dan teknik produksi yang berbeda.

Mereka juga menghadiri serangkaian kuliah di kampus Swedish Defence University di Stockholm. Pada akhir kursus, diajarkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai pengembangan teknologi dan penerapan di sektor pertahanan.

Para peserta diminta untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan tantangan dalam mengembangkan konsep operasi sistem, dan melaksanakan evaluasi sistem secara terperinci dengan menggunakan metodologi penilaian teknologi Militer.

“Kami sangat bangga bahwa 16 perwira Menengah dan Insinyur sudah  berhasil menyelesaikan program ini dengan sangat baik. Ini adalah hasil yang bagus untuk program beasiswa SAAB dan komitmen SAAB untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan mentransfer teknologi ke Indonesia,” kata Kepala SAAB Indonesia, Anders Dahl.

Sampai sekarang ini, Saab sudah memberikan 28 orang dari 50 orang beasiswa yang direncanakan di berikan kepada warga negara Indonesia. Program beasiswa SAAB untuk Indonesia bermitra dengan 4 universitas teknik terkemuka di Swedia untuk menawarkan berbagai pendidikan mulai dari gelar Master hingga kursus eksekutif yang lebih pendek.

Masih ada 22 orang kesempatan beasiswa yang tersisa bagi Perwira, Insinyur dan mahasiswa Indonesia dalam waktu dekat.

Anders mengatakan, terselesainya program pendidikan itu merupakan kerja sama yang baik antara Indonesia, khususnya TNI dan SAAB.

Ke depan, kata Marsda TNI Dedi Permadi, akan ada kesempatan akan menambah kuota peserta beasiswa, bila prospeknya bagus untuk program-program beasiswa ini.

Car insurance plans are usually issued for one year after which they should be renewed. If you do not renew it, you are driving a car without car insurance. If numbers are any indication, a study by New India Assurance revealed that about 70% of vehicles on Indian roads are without insurance. Is your car one among them? If yes, beware. Here are 5 consequences if you drive your car without having a valid Car Insurance policy: Be prepared to pay heavy fines Earlier, the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 governed the road safety and traffic rules. Recently, the Government passed the Road Transport and Safety Bill 2014 to replace the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Among other changes, the Bill penalizes you heavily if you are caught driving without having a valid insurance cover. As per the amendments, you would have to part with a whopping Rs.25, 000 for a light motor vehicles or Rs.75, 000 for other motor vehicles as a fine for driving without insurance. Pay losses for damages caused to third party or property In an accident, if you unintentionally harm any person or surrounding property, you are liable to pay the loss incurred. This is called third party liability. Your car insurance mandatorily covers this third party liability and spares you the loss incurred. The costs of repairs for such damage are borne by your comprehensive car insurance policy. Without insurance, the onus of paying for the repairs is on you. With the high cost associated with the repairs of your car, a financial strain is inevitable. You would be penalized, get a challan and might even be imprisoned. Loss of No Claim Bonus If your car insurance expires and you do not renew it, besides the penalties and fines, you also lose the No Claim Bonus which you accumulated in your existing policy. Car insurance plans allow a discount in subsequent year’s premiums if there is no claim in any current year. This discount increases every year and saves your premium outgo. If you let your car insurance policy lapse, you lose the accumulated NCB and end up paying a higher premium when the policy is consequently renewed. A car insurance policy is legally mandatory and not having one results in serious consequences (as mentioned above). While a third party liability cover is mandatory, a comprehensive policy is better. The former pays only for the damages caused to any third party but the latter also covers damages incurred by you and your car. The premium for a comprehensive policy is slightly higher because of higher coverage. For instance, the premium payable for a Maruti Ritz car registered in 2012 having a capacity of 1197cc would have a third party premium of Rs.2237 and a comprehensive premium of Rs.4200 (approximately). With a slight increase in the premium you can avail a higher coverage option which covers for your damages too. Since car repairs are expensive, a comprehensive policy makes more sense even if the premiums are a little high.
